Patrick has been the head of the Trading &Execution Desk at PGGM for the last 10 years prior to joining Solid FX. PGGM is a large Dutch asset manager for pension funds with AuM of EUR 218 billion as of January 1st, 2018.In the last 5 years Patrick also held different positions at the ECB FXC, the BIS MPG, ACIFXC, the FEMR and held a position on the board of the FMSB. Prior to PGGM was senior trader at APG, the largest asset manager in the Netherlands. He also worked for Lehman Brothers as prop-trader in the UK and started his career at ABN AMRO Bank as FX trader. Tod Van Name is Bloomberg's Global Head of Foreign Exchange electronic trading. He oversees business strategy and product development for FX Electronic Trading, which is used by the world’s leading FX professionals in corporations, global and regional banks, investment management firms and pension funds.FX trading at Bloomberg includes FXGO, a multi-bank trading platform for FX spot, forwards, non-deliverable forwards, swaps, deposits and option transactions. Paris Pennesi is a finance professional with more than ten years of experience. He is a Director for the quantitative trading group at HSBC. He also teaches Market Microstructure at UCL and had academic positions at London School of Economics and Cambridge University. Jill joined Thomson Reuters in February 2018 with over 25 years of experience in the financial technology industry, innovating the foreign exchange and derivatives markets. As an executive across five start-up firms, Jill is an expert in leading sales growth, business development and product strategy from formation through acquisition. Prior to joining Thomson Reuters, Jill was the head of Foreign Exchange at Traiana, a market leader in credit risk and post-trade processing. Jill is a trusted advisor to the Foreign Exchange community and is a member of the FXPA (Foreign Exchange Professional Association) and sits on the FX committee of the Central Bank of Canada. Jill is also a co-founder of the Women in FX group.

Giuseppe Nuti is the head of the Central Risk Book and Data Analysis at UBS's FRC division(FX, Rates & Commodities.) The CRB team is focused on building high-availability systems for optimal execution on behalf of UBS's clients and traders with particular attention to market micro-structure and alternative liquidity sources. The Data Science team attempts to explore novel uses of trading data, such as recommendations systems to match clients with specific UBS's trading axes and anomaly detection for high-throughput, noisy systems. Prior to this role, Giuseppe was an algorithmic trader at UBS New York and specialized in fixed income and foreign exchange. He has worked as a trader for over eighteen years, initially in the interest-rates options and swaps market and, since 2006, in the European and US Government bond markets. He has experience working both within the primary dealer community and in the high-frequency environment (at KCG and Citadel.) At UBS, he has run the U.S. Rates Trading desk within FRC, with particular focus on electronic market-making. Giuseppe holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science with particular focus on Markov Decision Processes applied to finance from University College London and an MSc in financial mathematics from City University, London. He has taught various courses, including Financial Computing at UCL and has supervised a number of Ph.D. students both at UCL and CASS Business School. His research interests are in algorithmic trading and Bayesian formulation of standard Machine Learning techniques. Giuseppe currently lives in Hurden (Switzerland) where he spends most of his free time enjoying his young family and dog.

Rebecca is a very active culture champion within UBS and supports a number of initiatives focused on Next Gen, Diversity & Inclusion and Community Affairs. Thanos is Founder & CIO of ABP Invest which he founded in 2015 after 20 years in asset management. His career with Credit Suisse Asset Management and Investec Asset Management spanned across fixed income, emerging markets, currency management and multi-asset. Thanos started as a Portfolio Manager responsible for global fixed income and total return portfolios before becoming Head of Currency Management. He managed portfolios for a number of FTSE, Dow and DAX pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, local authorities and family offices. Thanos was presented with the “Currency Manager of the Year" award, twice in 2004 and 2010. He later became a Strategist, bridging the investment and business development teams to help raise the firm’s profile and AUM globally. He began his career working as an Economist for the UK Government Economic Service coincidentally amidst the outset of the ERM Crisis of 1992. Thanos was also the Co-Founder and CIO of Equant-Analytics, a FinTech and advisory business combining big macroeconomic data, market intelligence, trade and trade finance, as well as a Founding Partner and strategic advisor to EMFC Loans Syndication, a financial boutique assisting companies seeking to raise bank debt. Abdullah has 20+ years’ experience in capital markets as well as positions at Capco and EY working with sell-side firms on strategy, design and building electronic trading solutions. His focus then shifted to the buy-side with a senior consulting role at Etrading Software, where he worked alongside large asset managers on the feasibility of Project Neptune, which was tasked with tackling liquidity issues in the fixed income markets.More recently, Abdullah was working with Deutsche Wealth Management on Project SPARTA to design and build a new global multi-asset trading platform and also led the delivery of key MiFID II solutions. In April 2018, Abdullah formed Theta Trading Technologies, code named Project Iceberg to build a buy-side multi-asset trading infrastructure as a service encompassing pricing, O/EMS, liquidity aggregation, AI and analytics, risk and compliance modular components.
