Michael is the Head of Liquidity and Foreign Exchange at Shell, based in London, where his team manage a cash portfolio of $20bn and annual FX outright flow of >$150bn. The group has been an active participant in electronic execution for many years and have been working with algorithms since ~2010. Prior to this role, Michael was Assistant Treasurer for the Shell group Upstream operations outside of the Americas .
