Benjamin Anderegg

Head of Foreign Exchange and Gold Swiss National Bank

Benjamin is Head of Foreign Exchange and Gold at the Swiss National Bank in Zurich. He is responsible for all FX activities of the SNB, in particular the implementation of monetary policy as well as reserve management induced activities. Benjamin joined the SNB in February 2017.

Prior to joining SNB he spent his career at UBS Investment Bank as an FX options trader in Zurich, Singapore and most recently London, where he was Head of FX Exotic Options Trading for EMEA. Benjamin has over 17 years of experience in the FX market.

Benjamin holds a Master’s Degree in Finance from the University of St. Gallen (HSG) and an MBA from INSEAD.
