Daniel Morrison

Daniel Morrison is a qualified Charted Accountant and a trained chemical engineer with over 17 years of experience working on global financial and operational projects within the Energy and Financial Services industry across Europe, Africa, Asia, Latin America, and North America.

Daniel has worked in various finance roles within Ernst & Young (UK), Baker Hughes Inc (US & UK) and currently with Schlumberger Limited (SLB) . In his 13yrs+ experience within SLB (formerly called Schlumberger), he has held multiple positions from Regional Financial Controllership, Global Internal Auditor, Geomarket Tax Manager, Global Finance Process Owner, and now working as the Global Trading Manager based in Luxembourg. His current responsibility includes driving currency risk management strategies across the organization, liquidity management, involvement in corporate bond issuance, and assisting in capital project financing ranging from $500million to $1billion+ USD. He is also driving various process standardization, simplification, automation, and digital transformation efforts within the organization’s Corporate Treasury function.
