Emidio oversees research, portfolio management and trading for AHL’s $3bn+ Foreign Exchange portfolio. He joined AHL in 2008 and has held several positions, including serving as the deputy head of the FX and commodity teams. He had previously contributed significantly in developing cross-asset systematic fundamental models. More recently he has overseen the research and development of fast trading strategies in FX space. Emidio will be participating in the Debate ‘Active Currency Strategies – Which Will Yield The Best Profits In Current Market Conditions?’ on the 14th September as well as contributing his expertise to the session ‘Fireside Chat: Capturing Alpha in Emerging Markets - As Traditional Strategies Falter, What Are The Alternative Methods For Generating Alpha?’ on the 15th September.
