Michael Wachtel

Head of Asia Fixed Income Cross Border Solutions, US & UK, Institutional Client Group Deutsche Bank

Michael joined Deutsche Bank in 2008 and is currently Head of Asia Fixed Income Cross Border Solutions for the US and the UK. In this role Michael leads the distribution, marketing and development of all on-shore and off-shore Asia local markets fixed income and FX products.  Prior to this role Michael spent 12 years in Asia.  Most recently Michael was Head of Fixed Income Sales for China based in Shanghai.  Before the transition to China, Michael worked on the Institutional Client FX Sales desk in Singapore covering Hedge Funds and Asset Managers. Prior to joining Deutsche Bank, Michael spent 10 years at Citi in New York and Singapore covering corporate and institutional clients for FX and FX derivatives.
