Ozgun Unal

Ozgun joined UBS Investment Bank in 2010 as an electronic FX salesperson covering institutional clients in the EMEA region. She played a key role in re-building the UBS eFX franchise and helping the bank reach its top 2 ranking in eFX. Ozgun is an expert in tailoring eFX solutions to client’s needs and managing client relationships. Since January 2020, she heads UK eFX Distribution team within Global Markets Division. She has a special interest in eFX Market Structure and is involved in various industry forums to increase automation and lead the evolution of electronification in FX markets.

Ozgun’s career spans over 20 years in Foreign Exchange; prior to UBS she worked at State Street Bank, Saxo Bank and MF Global in similar roles. She is passionate about empowering women in the workplace and attracting female talent to Investment Banking; and has contributed to various Diversity, Equity & Inclusion initiatives at UBS over the years. She continues to be involved in Recruitment initiatives for Global Markets. Ozgun holds a Master of Science degree in Investment Management from Bayes (formerly Cass) Business School, London. She speaks Turkish and English.
