Rens de Groot leads EU business operations at zerohash europe, supporting the commercial strategy through his focus on smooth client integrations and strong regulatory relationships. With deep expertise in derivatives, financial markets and cross-border settlements, he partners with Tier 1 operators, PSPs, and financial institutions to launch compliant solutions across payments, remittances, trading and tokenization.

Prior to joining zerohash europe, Rens de Groot served as a Supervisor of Capital Markets at the Dutch Authority for the Financial Markets (AFM), overseeing highly regulated high-frequency trading and prop trading firms. Previously, he was the Chief Commercial Officer at Franx (an ABN AMRO fintech initiative) and held several Executive Director roles at ABN AMRO Bank, leading Global FX Sales and complex derivatives and loans remediation programs.
